Turning Point Housing aims to decrease the 24% of chronically homeless people by providing housing that falls between traditional and permanent housing. The design approach includes prefabricated modularity, inexpensive building materials, and the creation of a “Spine” connecting all of the modular units. The “Spine” functions as the water, electrical, and sewage utility line. The modular units allow for versatility in site and building design.
